The Little Mix singers have taken very different paths since the band’s 2022 hiatus
The surprise dissolution of Little Mix has resurfaced in discussions after Jesy Nelson’s latest revelation that a fellow band member had wanted to quit before her.
Fans of the beloved girl group were devastated when Jesy declared her exit from the band in 2020, pointing to mental health concerns.
Her departure left Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall to soldier on, though the trio eventually took a break in 2022.
The X Factor champions’ influence endures through their infectious hits, which continue to draw more than 16 million monthly streams on Spotify.
Following Jesy’s candid revelations about the group’s inner workings, here’s what the members are up to now, reports the Mirror.
Jesy Nelson
Jesy has lately been forthcoming about her post-band journey in a fresh Prime Video docuseries, Life After Little Mix.
The 34-year-old’s solo musical endeavours were brief after her debut single triggered controversy. She dropped ‘Boyz’ featuring Nicki Minaj in 2021, accompanied by a music video.
Supporters criticised Jesy for ‘Blackfishing’ in the footage, where her makeup and artificial tan allegedly gave the impression she was Black or of mixed heritage. The furore proved so troublesome for the performer that she pledged in her new documentary never to pursue music again.
Beyond her musical pursuits, Jesy was romantically involved with former fiancé Zion Foster in a lengthy relationship that concluded earlier this month. The erstwhile pair became parents to twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe in May 2025.
After giving birth, the singer learnt their child had been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1. This uncommon genetic disorder leads to worsening muscle deterioration.
Jesy is now on a mission to shine a light on the condition.
Perrie Edwards
Perrie turned her attention to domestic bliss after the band went on pause in May 2022, having just become mum to her firstborn son Axel a few months earlier.
The 32-year-old has now expanded her brood with the arrival of daughter Alanis, whom she shares with footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Yet her passion for music remains strong.
The mother-of-two launched her maiden album ‘Perrie’ last year and unveiled her latest track ‘Woman in Love’ this month.
Her inaugural record included the emotional ballad ‘Same Place Different View,’ widely believed to reference her ex-bandmate Jesy.
The words explore the heartache of a fractured friendship and how such losses can match the anguish of romantic separations.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Leigh-Anne also tied the knot with prominent footballer Andre Gray. The pair are parents to twins whose details remain under wraps.
On the musical front, Leigh-Anne has recently unveiled her debut studio record ‘My Ego Told Me To’ and is set to embark on a tour this April.
Revealing her tour plans to her followers, she penned: “I’m going on tour baby! ! ! I can’t tell you how excited I am to perform this album live for you! Get me back to my happy place nowww! This one’s going to be so special!”.
Jade Thirlwall
Jade is also setting off on a tour that will take her across the UK, Europe and the US. This follows the release of her debut album ‘That’s Showbiz Baby!’ in September.
The 33-year-old star earned two BRIT Award nominations for Best Pop Act and Artist of the Year after her first album hit the shelves.
On the personal front, Jade is happily loved-up with Rizzle Kicks member Jordan Stephens.
